Dr. Franco Hernandez brings a distinguished background in oral surgery and advanced dental medicine to the Aqua Dentistry team. A Southern California native, he earned his Bachelor’s in Economics with honors from the University of California, Riverside before completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California. There, he was recognized as a selective student with focused training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental Anesthesia, and Public Health.
Following graduation, Dr. Hernandez pursued post-graduate training as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery intern at Parkland Memorial Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, one of the largest Level 1 trauma centers in Texas. He then completed a Dental Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial clinical instructorship at Stanford University Medical Center, further deepening his surgical and clinical expertise.
Dr. Hernandez is skilled in diagnosing and managing a broad range of oral conditions, including temporomandibular disorders (TMD), orofacial pain, odontogenic infection, edentulism, and benign cysts and tumors of the jaw. He routinely performs surgical extractions, wisdom tooth removal, dental implant rehabilitation, bone grafting, and comprehensive TMD management. His advanced training makes him a trusted resource for patients seeking specialized oral care in a comfortable, patient-centered setting.
